North Carolina Man Charged After Search and a Waukon Man Arrested on Warrant

On 7-15-26, at approximately 10:15PM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 106 Mechanic St. Apt 1 Fayette, IA.  During a search of the apartment, illegal substances, a firearm, and paraphernalia were found and seized.  During the investigation, Isaiah Jospeh Watson, 21 of Banner Elk, North Carolina, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana 1^st Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.  Watson was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where he was held until initial appearance.   The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Fayette Police Department.  

On July 15, 2026, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Robert Jola Jr., age 30 of Waukon, on two valid Fayette County Warrants for Violation of Probation (Serious Misdemeanor and Felony). Jola Jr was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is being held on a $2000 cash only bond and awaits an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge.
