Oelwein man arrested on charges; West Union man arrested on Escape Warrant; Arlington man arrested on warrants

On February 28th, 2026, at approximately 2:41PM, a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 40th Street and E Ave, Aurora, IA. After further investigation, it was discovered that Justin Michael Fauser (age 33) of Oelwein, IA, provided false identification information to law enforcement. It was also discovered that Justin Michael Fauser was driving with a suspended license. Justin was charged with Driving while license Denied, Suspended, Canceled, or Revoked and Providing False Identification Information, both simple misdemeanors. Justin was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held for initial appearance.  


On March 2nd , 2026, at approximately 3:52 pm, Fayette County Deputies arrested Jacob William Jeanes, age 37 of West Union. Jeanes had an active arrest warrant for Escape from the West Union Residential Facility. Jeanes was arrested at a residence in the city of Maynard. Jeanes was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is being held on a NO BOND hold. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the West Union Police Department K-9 Unit. 


On March 1st, 2026, at approximately 15:46 hours, a Fayette County Deputy took Lori Anne Padgett-Jennerjohn (age 57) of Arlington, IA into custody at her residence due to active arrest warrants for violations of Iowa Code,  Possession of Controlled Substances – Marijuana – 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor),  Possession of Controlled Substances – Methamphetamine – 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor). These charges stemmed from a Narcotics Search Warrant that was executed on her residence in Arlington, IA on February 11th, 2026. Lori was transported to the Fayette County Jail where she was held on a $1,300.00 cash or surety bond.
