Oelwein man arrested on Failure to Appear Warrant

On March 4, 2026, at 8:07pm, Oelwein Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 10 block of 9th Ave Se. As a result of this traffic stop, Loyd Leon Williams III, 39, of Oelwein, was arrested on a Buchanan County Warrant for Failure to Appear on Charge of Iowa Domestic Abuse Program – Contempt. Additionally, Williams was summoned to court for Driving While License Suspended.
