Oelwein man arrested on Grooming Warrant out of Delaware County. Two other arrests reported
On October 8th, 2026, at approximately, 5:03 PM, a Fayette County Deputy conducted a wanted person check at the address of 705 W Charles St., Oelwein, IA 50662. While conducting that check, Travis Ray Manning (age 41) of Oelwein, IA was taken into custody for an active arrest warrant out of Delaware County for Grooming, Enticing a Minor Under 16 Sexual Purpose, Dissemination and Exhibition of Obscene Material to Minors. At approximately 5:47 PM, a search warrant was executed at the residence of 705 W Charles St., Oelwein, IA 50662. After completing the search warrant, Travis Ray Manning (age 41) of Oelwein, IA was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 3rd or Sub Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance – Cannabidiol 1st Offense and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Travis was held for his initial appearance at the Fayette County Jail and will later be transported to Delaware County for his Warrant.
On 10/8/2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous tip of a Sex Offender Registry violation. After an investigation, Daniel Leroy Hanson 40 from Clermont, IA, was arrested and charged with Violation of the Sex Offender Registry 1st Offense. He was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he awaited his initial appearance with a magistrate.
On October 8, 2026, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office arrested 65-year-old Arnella Butterfield of Elma for a Violation of a Protective Order. Butterfield posted a $300 bond and was released pending her court date.
