Rebecca Helen "Becky" (Westerfield) Wilke of Elkader

Rebecca Helen "Becky" (Westerfield) Wilke, 69, of Elkader, passed away Monday, October 6, 2026, at home. 

She is survived by her husband, David of Elkader; her children, Sarah (Michael) Sanderson of Monona, Jessica of Washington, D.C., Jacob (Jessica) of Monona, and Kristen (Keith) Searcy of Boone; and her grandchildren, Greyson Sanderson and Charlotte, Gretchen, and Harrison Wilke.

It was Becky’s wish that family and friends attending the visitation on Thursday wear bright colors, or simply something they know she would have loved. She envisioned the visitation as a celebration of her life with the people she loved so dearly, while bringing smiles to the faces of her family.

Becky’s chosen memorials are KNWS Life 101.9 and Norway Lutheran Church in St. Olaf, IA. Donations toward the planting of trees are also welcome as a lasting remembrance of her love of nature.

Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Norway Lutheran Church in St. Olaf, Iowa. Friends may also call from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, at Norway Lutheran Church in St. Olaf, Iowa, with Pastor Marshall Hahn officiating. Burial and a time of fellowship will follow the service.

Interment: Norway Lutheran Cemetery, St. Olaf, Iowa
