The Elkader City Council approves Keystone Wall Repair Project

The Elkader City Council held a public hearing and approved the Keystone Wall Project. Work includes improving the vertical wall, stairs and new railing at a cost of 208-thousand dollars.
The Council set March 23rd as the date for the Property Tax Levy. The preliminary levy is expected to decrease $2.59-per-thousand. The Council approved alcohol and tobacco licenses to FS Iowa LLC, Crossroads #9, the former Pronto convenience store in Elkader.
