The Iowa Board of Nursing has cited a Luxemburg nurse who sent Facebook Messages to a patient. The Telegraph Herald reports Travis Boeckenstedt was cited with engaging in behavior that is contradictory to professional decorum. Boeckenstedt reportedly sent a patient several Facebook messages while working at Cornerstone Family Practice in Guttenberg. Iowa code prohibits participating in, initiating, or attempting to initiate a relationship with a patient, regardless of patient consent is prohibited.
