Three Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash Monday Near Luana

Three people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Monday, September 21. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Department says 57 year old Annette Davis of Luana was driving north on Dolphin Avenue in a 2024 Hyundai Palisade when she failed to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way to a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound on Highway 18, operated by 76 year old Richard Uhlenhake of Ossian. Davis was transported to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien with suspected serious injuries. Uhlenhake and his juvenile passenger were also transported to Veterans Memorial Hospital with suspected serious injuries. Davis was charged with failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
