Waukon Man Charged in Connection with Two-Vehicle Accident in Clermont

On September 26th, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Thompson and Mill St in Clermont. Upon deputy’s arrival, it was learned that Jasmine Schomacker, age 22 of Waukon, was operating her 2016 Kia Soul when she failed to slow down for a turning vehicle. Schomacker collided with a 2023 Chevy Traverse driven by Jason Dahlstrom, age 47 of Waukon. Both vehicles received minor damage and no injuries were reported. Schomacker was given a PTA for driving by while license suspended.
