Rachel Eglseder of Ed-Co tossed a five-inning perfect game and the Vikings advanced with an 8-0 Regional Quarterfinal win over Midland. Eglseder struck out eleven, including the first nine, in a dominant performance. Faith Dugan had two hits and scored three runs. Lauren Kirby had two hits and drove in two. Eglseder drove in two on sac flies. Ava Hoefer had two sacrifices driving in one run. Addi Schmelzer tripled in a run and scored. Chloe Everitt had two hits and Avery Brown scored twice. Josie Diers and Jennna Hamann both scored. Midland closes the season at 5 and 26. Ed-Co improves to 25 and 10, the Vikings will host Kee High in a Regional Semi-Final on Friday night at 7pm. Kee advanced with an 11-3 win over Springville.
