Oelwein Police arrest four after reports of a fight

At around 9:00pm on April 16, 2026, Oelwein Police responded to the 100 block of West Charles St for multiple reports of a fight in progress.  As a result, the following four individuals were each charged with Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Violence) - Simple Misdemeanor:  Joseph Jay Nolan II, 38, of Oelwein; Andrew Joseph Hoofnagle, 49, of Oelwein; Dustin John Moser, 38, of Oelwein; and Caleb, James Gildard, 34, of Oelwein.  All individuals were issued a summons to court for these offenses.
