Postville City Council is looking into increasing water rates

The Postville City Council is looking at increasing water rates in the city by one-percent. The Council is scheduled to review an updated ordinance at the August 10th meeting.
The Council approved a bid to paint the water tower for 105-thousand with the Pirate logo being added to the tower. They also approved replacing a valve on the tower for 25-thousand.
The Council also approved an engineering bid for phase one of the Hardin Subdivision Project at a cost of 166-thousand.
