Side By Side Utility Vehicle believed to be cause of fire in Rural Dubuque County

On March 24, 2026 at approximately 3:52 PM the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office along with Key West Fire responded to 9909 Elle Ct., the Brandon and Jessica Arensdorf residence, for a possible structure fire. Investigation revealed that a side by side utility vehicle was parked moments before the fire started and believed to be the cause of the fire. The fire was contained to a capped garage area within the residence with the home sustaining minor smoke damage within. Some of the residents were home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
