Fayette County Authorities release information on minor accident and the arrest of an Oelwein man
On 1/6/26 at approximately 6:46 am, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a truck vs deer accident on Golden Road near G Avenue, approximately three miles west of Elgin. After further investigation, it was determined that Craig Kyle's Boleyn, age 71 of Elgin, was driving west bound in a Red 2000 Ford F150 truck when he struck a deer in the traveled portion of the roadway.
