A Dehli man is charged in connection with an accident involving a truck striking a garage. 19-year old Cody Michael Reth is charged in the accident, which occured on September 20th at 2:19am. Reth was operating a 2008 Chevy Silverado at the intersection of 6th Street and Lexington Street in Dehli. On October 7, 2026 at approximately 4:53 AM a Fayette County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a single vehicle accident in the 3,000 block of 40th Street. An investigation revealed 32 year old Ryan Helmrichs of Strawberry Point, Iowa was traveling west on 40th Street in a 2005 Saturn Ion when a raccoon entered the roadway.
