Elkader City Council Approves Request to Relocate the Veterans Memorial
The Elkader City Council held discussion with the Lemka-Stendel American Legion Post 106 on the relocation of the Veterans Memorial. The plan is to move the Veterans Memorial from the City Park to the Triangle Park near Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. A fundraising effort will take place to help pay for the move.
