Hope Lutheran Church in Littleport Annual Auction and Lasagna Dinner postponed until March 22nd
Hope Lutheran Church Auction postponed to March 22 Due to the forecast of snow on Sunday, the Hope Lutheran Church, Littleport, annual auction has been postponed from Sunday, March 15 to Sunday March 22. Church services will be held at 10:30 am followed by the lasagna dinner prepared by the women of the church. The auction will begin at 12:30 pm.

Three people injured in a two-vehicle accident; Charges filed in single-vehicle accident; and two arrest incidents happen in Delaware County
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Delaware County. The accident occurred on February 20 th at 12:06am. 35-year old Dauoda Balde of Iowa City was operating a 2022 Toyota Camry traveling southbound on Highway 13. Winneshiek County Authorities release information on accident and four arrest incidents
A Dyersville man escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident in Winneshiek County. The accident occurred on February 24 th at 4:37pm. 60-year old Kenton Wayne Lenertz was operating a 2026 Dodge Ram southbound on 303 rd Avenue, south of County Road B-16. The vehicle approached a sharp corner on the right and was unable to negotiate the corner due to speed. Fayette County Authorities arrest Oelwein woman on three warrants
On 2-26-26 at approximately 10:06 a.m. a Fayette County Deputy arrested Tonya M. Pennington, 50 of Oelwein. Pennington had an arrest warrant for failure to appear original charge, Unauthorized use of a credit card under $1500.00 and bond was set in the amount of $2,500.00. Pennington turned herself into the Fayette County Jail where she was booked in and later posted bond.
