Waucoma woman arrested after attempting to flee on foot and an Alaska woman faces charges after traffic stop
On February 25 th , 2026, at approximately 9:09 PM, a Fayette County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 311-Block of Highway 150, West Union, IA. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the vehicle fled into a local business where the driver attempted to flee on foot. At 9:44pm on February 24, 2026, Oelwein Police responded to a call of a 15-year-old male juvenile threatening people with a knife in the 100 block of 6th Ave SE.
